We went for a heritage walk in CSMT with Ian late-September, and it was a blast!

He’s energetic, well-informed and convivial!

The walk took about 2 hours — wherein we explored the exterior and interior architectural aspects of the iconic train station. Throughout the walk, Ian regaled us with stories of historical significance, and even quizzed us a bit along the way! It was very engaging.

We made a stop at the train museum inside the station - a modest setup with a LOT of paraphernalia for rail transport enthusiasts!

Before we did this walk - We really didn’t know how much the station had to offer, despite living in Mumbai for some time now.

Walks like these are a lovely way to get acquainted with the city. An experience made all the richer with an enthusiastic and passionate guide like Ian!

Really enjoyed the CSMT tour,  it was a well-organised and smooth experience from start to finish. Everything ran on time, and we got to see and learn about all the important parts of the station without feeling rushed.
Our guide Ian was friendly, enthusiastic, and clearly knew his stuff, which made the tour both fun and informative.

We had an excellent experience from start to finish during our walking tour of Mumbai with Ian. He truly made the tour special — incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and engaging throughout. He brought the history of Mumbai to life with great storytelling, while also being flexible (we were running 15 minutes late, and he graciously adjusted).

What really stood out was how Ian made space for us to wander a bit, even indulging our animal detours along the way, without ever losing the thread of the tour. We walked away having learned so much more than we expected, and we genuinely had a wonderful time.
